First day I was able to get out with the sun shining but incredibly low temperatures, First stop was on the bridge over the River Hertford. Beautiful light and scenery but very little in the way of wildlife other than a few Mallard flying around looking for any open water and a Common Snipe looking for soft mud!!!
Next onto Filey Dams, where the main pool was frozen. The bird feeders had attracted a number of new Reed Buntings, including this nice male
A Red Fox spent some time out in the open before joining its mate back in the plantation
